E-rickshaw ban: Kejriwal to meet Gadkari tomorrow

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal will tomorrow meet Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on the issue of the ban on e-rickshaws in the national capital.

"Kejriwal will tomorrow meet Gadkari along with a delegation of e-rickshaw drivers and raise the issue of the ban," said an AAP spokesperson.

"E-rickshaws were banned in Delhi due to the government's inaction. Gadkari misled the e-rickshaw drivers on June 17 at Ramlila Maidan by saying he would come up with a policy on it in a month, but nothing has been done.

"I have sought an appointment with Gadkari, who is the minister in charge," Kejriwal said.
