Edible oils ends mixed, non-edible declines

Groundnut oil slipped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to stockist selling amidst subdued demand from retailers following ample supplies.

Refined palmolein gained marginally on sustained buying support.

Linseed oil remained steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

In the non-edible, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial declined on reduced demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.

The castorseeds futures rates for today were unavailable.

Moving to edible segment, groundnut oil fell by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 780 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 790 however, refined palmolein moved-up by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 572 as against Rs 570 previously.
 

In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold dropped by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 3,975 from Rs 4,000 and castoroil commercial also eased by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 825 as compared to Rs 830 previously. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 840 per 10kg.
