Eight hurt in bus-autorickshaw collision

Eight persons including a child were seriously injured when a bus collided head on with an autorickshaw in Ghola area in North 24 Parganas district tonight, the police said.

All the victims, who were in the autorickshaw, were sent to R G Kar Medical College Hospital.

Driver of the bus fled after the accident leaving its passengers, members of a marriage party, on the Sodepur- Madhyamgram Road near Ghola bazar, the police said.
