Eight people, including three girl students, were today crushed to death under a giant boulder after a cave collapsed in Surajpur district.
Three people are still feared trapped under the debris, a police official said.
The giant boulder crushed the three girl students from a neighbouring village and sugar mill labourers who were sitting near the cave.
Eleven people were trapped under the debris, the official said adding so far eight bodies have been recovered.
The exact number of casualties could only be ascertained after the rock will be removed, police said.
