Elderly man found hanging in UP's Mathura

An elderly man was today found hanging from the roof of a shrine in the Mant area here, police said.

The body was found by the villagers who later informed the police, DySP Jagveer Singh Chauhan said.

A bag containing some clothes and a walking stick was found at the spot, he said.

A case has been registered and we are trying to ascertain the identity of the deceased and other details, Chauhan said.
