A 60-year-old man was killed in his house in a village in Shamli district, police said Monday.
According to an FIR, four men had allegedly beaten Jaber Singh and then slit his throat in Titarsi village on Sunday night, said Circle Officer Arvind Kumar.
The FIR mentioned Pradeep, Manoj, Pramod and an unidentified person as an accused. The four are on the run and prima facie old enmity seems to be the reason behind the killing, the officer said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and the matter is being probed, the officer added.
