Elderly man killed over old enmity

An elderly man was today killed by two armed men in village Kumharia in Rath area of Hamirpur district over an old enmity, police said here.

Jamnuna Das (65) was allegedly killed by Rampal and Haricharan with sharp-edged weapons, police said.

An FIR has been registered in this regard and police has launched a man hunt to nab the accused, who are absconding.

The incident was stated to be fallout of the old enmity.
