Electricity dept official commits suicide

A 30-year-old employee of the state electricity department allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his office in Hanumangarh district.

Devendra Rajput was on duty last night when he hanged himself with his turban, SHO of Tibbi Police Station Ishwaranand said.

The matter came to light when an employee in the morning shift came to office. The body has been shifted to the district hospital's mortuary, he added.
