Electrification of Mathura-Alwar-Hisar rail track by year end

The electrification of the Mathura-Alwar-Hisar via Rewari rail track would be completed by the end of this year,

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Jaipur Division of the Railways, Anjali Gupta, informed this here today as she was on an inspection of the Rewari station.

To a deputation of the Commuters Association, who sought a hike in the number of passenger trains on the Rewari-Delhi rail track, she assured them that their demand would soon be positively considered.

She also said that construction work of an under-pass on the double crossing here, which had been posing enormous difficulties for thousands of pedestrians for a pretty long time, would soon be started.
