Eleven women workers were injured when the bus they were travelling in collided with a tree and overturned in Korangi village in the district last night, police said today.
The incident occurred when the women, working in an aquaculture unit, were headed to their destination, police sub-inspector VLVK Sumanth said.
He said the driver lost control over the vehicle after a steering wheel bolt came off.
He said the injured women are in stable condition.
