With the Pro-Kabadi League starting here tomorrow, FMCG major Emami Ltd whose power brand Navratna is associated with the local Patna Pirates Kabaddi team today wished the team success and said Kabadi is getting its recognition.
"Kabaddi has always been a popular form of sport that we have grown up with. The team is getting its due recognition for the first time in India in the form of pro Kabaddi league, which is commendable," Emami Ltd General Manager (Marketing) Anupam Katheriya told reporters.
"We are extremely happy with the association of our power brand Navratna with Patna Pirates for two years and we look forward to a mutually enriching relationship," he said.

Patna Pirates team Chief Executive Officer Vinod Bisth who accompanied him in the press conference said that "its heartening to see Emami and Navratna coming forward to patronise the revival of this indigenous game which is languishing due to lack of support."
Patna Pirates team led by International Kabaddi player Rakesh Kumar and which has player from Pakistan, South Korea and Kargizstan in it were present on the occasion.
The Kabaddi pro-league starts in Patna from tomorrow and will end on August 10.
