Portfolio management firm Equity Intelligence India has hiked 2.1 per cent stake in Jubilant Industries by buying 2.48 lakh shares in the open market.
Portfolio management client of Equity Intelligence India Pvt Ltd and its associates, which had 5.3 per cent stake earlier, increased it shareholding in the company to 7.4 per cent by buying shares on September 4, Jubilant Industries said in a filing to the BSE.
Based on the closing price of the stock on September 4, at Rs 265.80 apiece, the transaction is estimated to have been valued at Rs 6.61 crore.
Shares of Jubilant Industries closed today at Rs 253.20 apiece on BSE, down 4.74 per cent.
