ER opens special health camps for heat-stricken passengers

The camps will remain open till the summer-end, the Railway said, adding that 27 passengers were treated at Howrah station today.

One of the female passengers was taken to the Railway Orthopaedic hospital at Howrah and later discharged.

The affected passengers were given ORS, water with lemon and salt, medicine and first-aid.

Two such camps will be opened at Kanchrapara and Naihati stations soon.
