Erdogan says Turkey 'won't lose economic war' after lira crash
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today pledged that Turkey would prevail in an "economic war" after the lira crashed to historic lows over Ankara's strains with Washington.
"We will not lose the economic war," state-run TRT Haber television quoted Erdogan as saying in his first reaction to the latest lira plunge.
