Estate official in vigilance net

An estate official in Gurgaon was caught red-handed while allegedly taking Rs 5000 as bribe from a resident for transferring a plot of land, Vigilance Bureau said today.

Rohtash Singh was posted as Assistant, Allotment Branch office of Estate Officer-II, Sector-56, Gurgaon, the Bureau said.

A case under section 7/13 of Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against the accused at the Bureau's police station in Gurgaon.
