EU to 'suspend' Colombia's FARC from terror list: official

The European Union has decided to "suspend" Colombia's FARC rebel group from its terror group list, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said.

"This decision will take effect upon the signature of the Peace Agreement," due to happen at 2000 GMT today in Colombia, she added in a statement.

The suspension will allow the temporary lifting of sanctions linked to FARC's presence on the list - including the freezing of assets.
