A former Panchayat member allegedly shot himself with his revolver and live-streamed the incident on his Facebook profile, police said today.
The deceased was identified as Sandeep Singh alias Sandy (30), a resident of nearby Chachoki village, Urban Estate police post incharge Mikhtiar Singh said.
He shot himself on his temple last night, the police said, adding he was depressed.
Sandy's parents were settled in Canada and he lived all alone in his house, the police said.
The body was sent for post-mortem to Civil Hospital after registering a case.
