Explosive substance recovered on Indo-Nepal border

Eight kgs of explosive substance, including gun powder, were recovered by the SSB on the Indo-Nepal border here today, an official said.

The SSB jawans asked a person, moving in suspicious circumstances near Siriya Naka outpost, to stop, Commandant SSB Murti Singh said.

The person managed to flee leaving 8 kgs of explosive substance, including potash and gun power, he said

A hunt had been launched to apprehend him, the Commandant said.
