Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said he discussed investment opportunities in transport, communication and infrastructure sectors in the state with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
"Maharashtra is honoured to host and welcome Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Turnbull," Fadnavis tweeted.
"We had a great meeting with PM of Australia Malcolm Turnbull in Mumbai as he called on Governor C Vidyasagar Rao, this morning," he said.

"We discussed and decided on ways to move ahead in collaboration with Australia in transport, communication, infrastructure sector in Maharashtra," Fadnavis said.
"Informed Hon PM Malcolm Turnbull about the investment opportunities like 200 km Mumbai Metro, coastal road, Nagpur- Mumbai Samruddhi Corridor," Fadnavis tweeted.
