Family of Arvind Kejriwal was among the cheering crowd at Ramlila Maidan as he took oath as the eighth Chief Minister of Delhi today.
His IRS officer wife Sunita Kejriwal, mother Gita Devi, father Gobind Ram Kejriwal and children - Pulkit and Harshita - arrived at the venue along with him.
No special arrangements were made for the family members as they sat among the public.
In the morning, prior to leaving for Ramlila Maidan, Kejriwal's mother applied auspicious tika on his forehead.
After his party's landslide victory, Kejriwal had thanked his wife Sunita, a senior Income Tax Officer, for her support all through the years.
According to sources, Kejriwal is a family man who never leaves his house without seeking his parents' blessings.
