Farmer killed over land dispute in UP

A farmer was killed in Harduaganj area here following dispute over a piece of land, police said today.

The incident took place in Kallai village yesterday when Chandrveer (40) was watering his field.

He had an altercation with some persons following which he was severely beaten up, they said, adding that he died at a hospital.

Four persons, including a woman, belonging to the same village, have been booked for murder, police said.
