Farmer murdered by younger brother over water dispute

A 40-year-old farmer was allegedly murdered by his younger brother over a water dispute in Karwada village here, police said.

According to the FIR lodged by the son of the deceased, his father was allegedly murdered when he refused to supply water to his younger brother to irrigate his fields.

The body of the victim Virender has been sent for postmortem, SHO Munendra Singh said and his 30-year-old brother Upender has been arrested.
