Father kills two and half-year-old girl child

In a gruesome incident, a two and half-year old girl was allegedly strangulated to death by her father as he was disturbed for not having a boy child, in Rajastan's Alwar district, police said today.

The accused Sundar Prajapat strangulated his daughter Vedika last night.

He wanted a boy child. But he had three daughters. Vedika was the youngest daughter, police said.

Prajapat, who is a labourer was arrested from his house in Bahala village, neary 12 kms from the city.
