Father-son duo fatally knocked down by unidentified vehicle

A man and his son were killed when their motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle in a village in Sangrur district of Punjab today, police said.

The mishap occurred near Balad village in Sangrur, a police official said.

He said a case has been registered against the unknown vehicle driver.

"We are trying to trace him from the registration number of his vehicle which was noted down by the eyewitnesses," he said.
