An FIR was lodged at Kotwali City police station here against accused Rakesh Yadav for borrowing Rs 6 lakh and not returning the money, police said today.
In his complaint registered yesterday, Devendra Singh alleged that Samajwadi leader Yadav borrowed the money from him for business purposes but refused to return the amount later.
No arrests were made in this connection, police added.
