A fire broke out at a four-storeyed plastic factory in outer Delhi's Narela area this evening, but no one was injured in the incident.
"We received a call about a fire in the plastic factory around 4.25 PM. Twenty-four fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze was brought under control. Cooling operation is currently underway," a Delhi Fire Services official said.
The cause of the fire is suspected to be short-circuit, a senior police officer said.
The factory was completely burnt by the fire but since it was a holiday, there were no workers inside, the officer said.
