Fire broke out tonight inside the campus of closed Jessop Factory in Dumdum area.

The fire was, however, brought under control within few hours by 15 fire tenders.

Diaster Management and Fire minister Sovan Chatterjee said he has ordered an inquiry into the matter.

"Flames were seen at five portions of the closed factory. I personally feel that it is a planned incident by certain miscreants. I have ordered an inquiry into the matter. The fire is presently under control," hesaid.

The fire, the third one since October 10 last, broke out at around 7 PM, fire brigade sources said.

There was no report of any casualty or injury in the incident.

Two fires had earlier broken out in the factory since October 10.
