At least 37 houses along with one community prayer hall, three granaries and 19 rice mills were reduced to ashes in a devastating fire in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh today.
Several other property was reported to be lost in the fire which broke out at around 2.30 AM at Tadin village district information officer Gijum Tali said.
West Siang DC Gamli Padu accompanied by district disaster management officer (DDMO) visited the site to assess the losses and provided immediate relief to the fire victims.
Army, ITBP, IRB, police and public were involved to provide food and temporary shelter to the victims.
