Two police officials were injured today when two persons of rival groups opened fired at an undertrial in Yamunanagar court complex.
Monu Rana was being taken out from the court after a hearing in a murder case when Sahil and his friend Gaurav fired shots at him, which hit two the policemen, police said.
After the incident, Sahil was arrested on the spot while Gaurav managed to flee on a motorcycle, they said.

Police recovered two pistols and eight cartridges from Sahil. An old rivalry between the two groups is stated to be the reason behind the shooting.
The injured have been hospitalised and stated to be out of danger, police said, adding a case has been registered in this connection.
