With the arrest of five persons, Jammu and Kashmir police today claimed to have busted a gang of thieves active in Kokernag area of the district.
Police busted a gang of five thieves in Kokernag area of the district and recovered vehicle accessories stolen by them, a police spokesman said.
Kokernag police station had received many complaints regarding the theft of vehicle accessories in their area, following which a team was formed and raids were conducted at various places.
Five persons were arrested and during interrogation they confessed to have stolen vehicle accessories, which were recovered on their instance, he said.
