The accused, who were travelling in a stolen car, were stopped by the police at Kishangarh village near Vasant Kunj around 8.30 pm yesterday. They tried to escape by hitting a barricade and pointing weapons at the police personnel, the officer said.
However, the police personnel managed to overpower them, he said, adding that a semi-automatic pistol, two country-made pistols, 10 live cartridges and the stolen car were seized from them.
The keys of another car stolen from Vasant Kunj on July 19 and a couple of two-wheelers were also recovered from them, the officer said, adding that the accused had abandoned the car in Trilokpuri.
