Five persons have been arrested and 10 bovines rescued from their possession in two separate cases at Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir today.
Bhag Hussain and Bhag Ali were arrested when their vehicle was intercepted at Samba area, police said, adding that seven bovines were recovered from their possession.
In another incident, Baljeet Singh, Mohan Singh and Anil Kumar of Ramgarh area were arrested and three bovines seized from them, they said.
Cases have been registered against all those arrested, police said.
Investigation is underway, they added.
