Five transgenders arrested for alleged robbery bid

Five transgenders were arrested for their alleged robbery bid after attacking a taxi driver in the wee hours today, police said.

They allegedly tried to rob the money and mobile phone of the driver after pulling him out of driver's seat.

The driver immediately took the car forward and left the place and informed a police patrolling party in the vicinty about the incident.
