Five women go missing as boat capsizes in Vizag Agency

Five women from Jodugumma village of Rangabayalu panchayat were feared to have drowned after a boat capsized in Matsyagedda river under Munchangiput police station limits in Vizag Agency this evening.

The women, alongwith two men, were crossing the river from Malkangiri on the Odisha side to Kajuguda village in Andhra Pradesh when the boat sank midstream.

The two men swam to the shore but the women were missing.

Search is on. Identity of the missing women was not known yet.
