Flesh trade racket busted

A prostitution ring

operating from a flat in Baguiati area of North 24 Parganas district was busted today, the police said.

Owner of the flat, a pimp and four women were arrested while two clients managed to flee.

The police seized Rs 7000 in cash and some condoms from the flat.

The flat owner informed the police during interrogation that he had rented it out to a person at Jagachha in Howrah district, the police said.
