In an unusual theft case, exotic flowers worth around Rs 16 lakh were stolen from a shop in a market in in central Delhi.
The shop-owner when reached his shop at Sadar Bazar in the morning on March 23 he found the locks of the store broken and around 230 cartons of different varieties of flowers were missing.
The stolen flowers, weighed around 25 kgs, were estimated to cost Rs 16 lakh, shop-owner Sunder Lal said in the police complaint.
Police has collected the footage from the CCTV cameras installed near the shop to get the clues about the burglars.
The police said that they suspect involvement of an insider in the incident.
