Flyover connecting Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region opens
A part of a flyover in China's Tianjin Municipality built at a cost of USD 174 million opened to traffic, facilitating enhanced connection between the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The Jinhan flyover is a key project which connects Tianjin Binhai International Airport, Tianjin Airport Economic Area and Beijing-Tianjin Highway.
It marked the largest municipal flyover project under construction in Tianjin, with total investment of around 1.2 billion yuan (about USD 174 million).
Chinese authorities have been encouraging coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region since 2014.
Progress has been made in many fields including environmental protection, public services, and transportation.
