For pop icon Kylie Minogue operating rooms, where she was taken for the breast cancer treatment, acted as her own personal stage.
The 45-year-old singer forced herself to remain confident during her cancer surgery by pretending that the operating lights were the spot lights and the theatre was the stage itself, reported Contactmusic.
"I was lying there on the trolley and I was suddenly taken by the fact that I was going into a 'theatre'. Medicine is so different from my business, but, in some ways, so similar," she said.

Minogue knew she needed to find the courage to make it through the procedure by finding comfort in something familiar.
"The whole gowning up, the masks, the build- up, the adrenalin, it all felt so familiar. I was under lights. 'Ah! There's my spotlight,'" she added.
The Australian singer was diagnosed with the disease in 2005. She is cancer free now.
