: Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy today said that the foundation stone for construction of a super-speciality hospital at Karaikal would be laid soon.
He made the announcement while speaking at a function at Tirunallar temple.
Stating that the government had floated tenders for the super-speciality hospital project, to be constructed at a total cost of Rs 50 crore, he said the project would soon become a reality.
Listing out the development measures taken up in Karaikal district, he said that his government was treating all the four enclaves of Puducherry Union Territory equally.
He refuted the charges that Karaikal region was being ignored by the government.
