Four drown in canal

Four unidentified persons

drowned in a canal while fishing in Daulatpura village near here today, police said.

The victims, who had gone to catch fish in the canal, could not gauge the depth of the water body and drowned into it.

All the dead bodies have been recovered with the help of locals, police said, adding that efforts are on to ascertain the identity of the deceased.
