Four family members killed after lorry and bike collide

Four members of a family including a two-year-old boy and two women were killed after a bike on which they were travelling was hit by a lorry in Nizamabad district of Andhra Pradesh today, the police said.

The incident occured at around 2 pm after the lorry and the bike collided head-on near Timmareddy village of Yellareddy mandal of the district, the police said.

The two-year-old boy died on the spot, while one of the injured women died while undergoing treatment and two other injured people died while being shifted to a government hospital, the police said.

Further investigations are on.
