Four from Karnataka killed in road accident in AP

Four persons from Karnataka, including a couple and their son, who were going to the famous Tirumala temple, were killed when a vehicle they were travelling in was hit by a KSRTC bus in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh today, police said.
Four others were also injured in the accident, which took place near Pannamakulapalli village of the district around 8 am when a group of six persons was on their way from Bengaluru to Tirumala for a darshan of Lord Venkateshwara, they said.
The Karnataka-state run bus coming from the opposite direction bumped into the four-wheeler while overtaking another vehicle. Bhaskar N (56), his wife Janakamma (50), son Mohan (27) and one of their relatives-- Murugan died in the accident. Two other occupants of the vehicle and as many people from the bus were injured, Gangavaram SHO P Dileep said.

The inspector said the bus driver was at fault in this case and he has been taken into custody.
Further investigation is on.
