Four persons were killed and 23 others injured in two different road accidents in the district in the early hours today.
Two persons died and 22 others were injured when a state transport corporation bus in which they were travelling plunged into a canal near Harihar, officials said.
The bus was on its way to Davangere from Chikkamagaluru. The injured have been admitted to hospital.
In another mishap, two persons were killed and one injured in a collision between two-wheelers near Nyamathi village, about 50 km from here.
