Four tonnes of ration rice seized

Four tonnes of ration rice was seized at Kodimunai near Kulachal, while it was being smuggled to Kerala, police said today.

They said the food cell officials seized the rice from a lorry, during a vehicle check.

One person had been taken into custody for interrogation,police said.
