An organisation of freedom fighters here has written to Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna seeking better arrangements for the treatment of nonagenarian freedom fighter and former Tehri MP Paripurnanand Painuli.
Painuli is admitted to CMI hospital for treatment.
In a letter faxed to Bahuguna, Dehradun district unit of Akhil Bhartiya Sawantantrata Sangram Senani Sangathan said Painuli was admitted at the CMI on December 23 after he fell at home and had a fracture but there has been little improvement in his condition.
Citing his old age and frail health, the organisation appealed the chief minister for better arrangements for the ex MP's treatment.
