Freight rates of nine-tonne pay load section for select destinations rose by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today on increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks.
Transporters said increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks mainly pushed up freight rates for select destinations.
Freight rates from Delhi to Jaipur, Chandigarh and Kanpur were enquired higher by Rs 500 each to Rs 18,500, Rs 20,500 and Rs 21,500 respectively.
