Freight rates remain steady in thin trade

Freight rates for the nine-tonne pay load section continued to remain steady in the local truck transport market today largely on restricted cargo movements against easy availability of trucks.

Transporters said besides restricted cargo movements, easy availability of trucks in the markets, mainly kept freight rates unaltered.
