Gammon India Oct-Dec quarter net loss at Rs 160 cr

Gammon India today reported a net loss of Rs 160.75 crore for quarter ended December 31, 2014.

The company's net loss in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal was Rs 454.41 crore, it said in a filing to BSE.

Net sales of the company declined to Rs 699.37 crore in the third quarter of 2014-15, from Rs 1,018.03 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.

Total expenses declined to Rs 765.15 crore in the quarter, from Rs 1,201.47 crore in the year-ago period.

Shares of the company closed at Rs 19.45 apiece on BSE, down 2.51 per cent from previous close.
