A 12-year-old girl died today when a tree fell on her after being uprooted by a storm in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district.
The incident occurred around 6:00pm when the tree fell on the girl after which she died on the spot, District Disaster Management officer Nand Kishore Joshi said.
Joshi said the district administration and police teams were rushed to the spot.
