Girl kidnapped by unidentified youths

A 17-year old girl was today allegedly kidnapped by unidentified youths from near sadar bazaar under the limits of Sarai police station of Bihar's Vaishali district, a police officer said.

The girl, identified as Raghni Kumari (17), a resident of Sitwar Parvodi village, was returning home with three of her friends after appearing for an Intermediate examination at Adarsh College, when some youths came on a SUV and pushed her inside the vehicle and fled, Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Hajipur Pankat Rawat said.

The other three girls managed to flee the spot, the SDPO said.

A case of kidnapping has been lodged by the girl's father Pramod Singh with Sarai police station, Rawat said adding, the police was searching for the girl.
